Hoofddorp, 16 November 2023 – Macaw has been named a Microsoft featured partner for Fabric, Microsoft’s end-to-end analytics solution. The company was honored among some top global Microsoft Solutions Partner for demonstrating excellence in innovation, in-depth knowledge and successfully implementing Microsoft Fabric at a customer site.
Value for customers
Macaw achieved this status thanks to its innovative track record, embracing new technologies to make customers successful and continuously investing in training and development. At an early-stage Macaw successfully helped a client in the manufacturing and utilities sector to take advantage of Microsoft Fabric’s potential. In doing so, Macaw met the requirements specified by Microsoft.
In addition – and this was not part of the requirements – Macaw hosted numerous Fabric Roadshows to show customers AI capabilities, answer questions and concerns and map tooling to ambitions.
‘We help our clients to innovate in the era of AI and combine data, tech and creativity to leverage Microsoft solutions and accelerate business value. – Taams, CEO Macaw.

Empower all business users
‘Data landscapes are enormously complex and require a lot of different tools’, said Marc Lelijveld, MVP, Technical Evangelist and Solution Architect at Macaw. ‘Microsoft Fabric – with full-service capabilities including data movement, data lakes, data engineering, data integration, data science, real-time analytics, and business intelligence – simplifies this. And has a cost structure and place to manage it. This allows companies to shorten the time to go from data – to insights – to action and empower all business users.’
Martijn Muilwijk, data advisor at Macaw summarizes: ‘With Microsoft Fabric, we are stepping into the new era of data & AI. It helps organizations leverage the value of data at scale and reduce the total cost of ownership of their data capability. We believe Microsoft Fabric enables organizations to accelerate to the next phase of their data-driven ambitions.’
The announcement was made during Microsoft Ignite, the annual conference for developers and IT professionals taking place this year in Seattle from November 14-17, and online November 15-16. More information on the Microsoft Fabric partners can be found here.
