About our team.

As our promising Recruitment Intern, you will be part of a People team, which includes HR and Recruitment business partners, HR Admin, Learning & Development specialist, and a People lead. Together, we are steering our Macaw team towards a mutual goal of attracting and retaining the best right talents in the industry.

There is never a dull moment! We are professionals with loads of ideas and we need your hands and your ideas to not only keep us moving forward but also to continually refine and improve our processes. Your planning, prioritizing, and executing skills will be put to the test in an environment that nurtures your growth. And not to forget that we are an international team and you will have colleagues across borders in Germany and Lithuania.


In your day-to-day tasks, you’ll gain experience with:

  • Sourcing tech talents in areas such as Data, M365, Cloud, and more.
  • Crafting effective LinkedIn messages.
  • Facilitating the interview process from scheduling interviews to delivering feedback and maintaining the ATS system.
  • Recruitment process improvements, keeping the internal website and the database up-to-date and running.
  • Be ready to tackle any ad-hoc tasks with an innovative mindset.
  • Any fresh ideas and solutions are highly needed and welcomed!
  • Support in transforming our employer branding initiative into a continuous process. This is where your creativity comes in –  your ideas will play a crucial role in shaping the way we tell Macaw’s story.


What do we expect from you?

  • You are in your last year of Bachelor’s or Master’s in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related.
  • Eager to apply your academic knowledge in talent acquisition and HR.
  • You like to organize and structure, so at the end of a workday, you reach
  •  a sense of accomplishment. At least, have this goal:)
  • Most important: an entrepreneurial mindset and a hands-on approach to tasks.
  • You genuinely enjoy teamwork, ready to share ideas, follow up on tasks and join in for a bit of fun with table tennis, padel, or any other spontaneous activities.
  • Confident in both spoken and written English, with a preference for proficiency in Dutch.
  •  Available for 5-6 months and open to working 40 hours per week.
