As an IT Recruiter at Macaw, you are responsible for creating strategies to attract our future coworkers to help grow our company and achieve our goals. Is it an easy challenge? No! Is it a fun and exciting challenge where you are pushed to the limit? Yes! At Macaw, we work with 450 people in the Netherlands, Germany and Lithuania. Over the next 5 years, it is our ambition to grow into a full-service digital partner on a European level. We would love to add someone to the team that thinks outside-the-box and challenges the internal organization, so we keep improving our customer and employee experience. Together with Karin, Fabienne, José, Stace, Joost, Noa and, Mikhail, we cover all aspects of Talent Acquisition in the Netherlands. But we need one more champ: you!

  • Managing the recruitment process from attract to hire
  • Boolean is where you excel at to find upcoming and hidden talent online
  • Mentoring your Talent Sourcers who pro-actively reach out to potential candidates: It’s like you are the Gandalf to our Frodo’s
  • Advising the hiring managers and Competence Leads is not something that scares you
  • Enthusing candidates and actively guiding them through the candidate journey runs in your blood
  • In addition, you will build talent pipelines and relationships with the potential sourced candidates

Do you have what it takes?

Recruitment is not for everybody. As an IT Recruiter you are a jack of all trades. Talking to (senior) management, interviewing applicants with an international background and taking on the role of career advisor. You love talking and selling a career is something you love doing on a daily basis. A Recruiter is a consultant, a host, a marketeer and an ambassador all in one.

  • You have >3 years of experience in sourcing IT profiles (at an agency or corporate/organization)
  • A background as a Talent Sourcer, (Agency) Recruiter or Consultant is ideal
  • Boolean has no secrets for you. Sourcing is more than LinkedIn Recruiter and if you need to train the student Sourcers you need to know what’s up!
  • As a person you are passionate, communicative, convincing and you know how to create new enthusiastic Macaw ambassadors
  • English is a must-have, both written and verbal. Speaking Dutch or German is an advantage
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in experience is ideal
  • We work with Microsoft O365 (Teams, Outlook, Office) and our ATS Connexys/Bullhorn. You are tech-savvy or used to working efficiently with these or similar applications
  • Stress? Recruiters don’t know stress, these are challenges, and you love challenges
