Vacancy: Business Analyst
Location: From home, from one our offices in Hoofddorp, Barendrecht or Apeldoorn and on-site with our customers (when possible)
Hours: 32 – 40
At Macaw, we work with about 450 colleagues on challenging and innovative IT projects. As a Platinum Partner of Sitecore, we among other things realize digital marketing platforms for our (international) customers. Our team have all the competencies to build those types of platforms by themselves. The team consists of Sitecore Developers, Front-end Developers, Designers, Business Consultants and Analysts. We are looking for a new colleague for the Analysts team.
Working at Macaw as a Business Analyst
In the role of Business Analyst, you communicate with our customers at an operational level about the wishes and requirements of the new digital marketing platform. You discuss the business objectives with the various stakeholders at the customer: What does the customer want to achieve? What is needed for that? Does the customer already know how to get the most value from their solution? You translate this requirements analysis into a roadmap, and you provide a clear backlog, so that the project team can actually start building. You are involved throughout the project and keep track during the sprints. You know how to reach all stakeholders, at the customer and in the project team, and you ensure that everyone is informed. You remain involved with some customers after delivery, so that you can contribute to the optimization of the platform. Think, for example, of a CRO process, where you analyze the data and propose improvements, so that the conversion of the platform improves.
For this vacancy we are looking for a candidate who already has experience in the field of Digital Marketing. You are familiar with the Agile way of working and have worked with Sitecore or a comparable CMS before. We are not asking you to already know everything; the professionals at Macaw can help you in your further development. But as a Digital Marketing Analyst you do make a difference because you are able to keep an overview and to anticipate what is happening or is about to happen.
“My biggest challenge is to ensure that everyone is on the same level. From customer to developer. And that the customer knows what he is getting.” – Rogier Poldner, Business Analyst at Macaw
