Working at Macaw as a Cloud Engineer
Macaw’s Cloud Engineers form a strong group of professionals who work together to realize the best Cloud foundations in a no-nonsense setting. We work for (international) customers and advise them on improving the stability, availability and security of their Azure infrastructure.
As a Cloud Engineer you solve issues in the field of automation, security and management. For example, you help design, realize and manage various IaaS and PaaS environments. You work in teams with the Azure DevOps tooling, led by a Product Owner from Agile Lead. In addition to building, managing and protecting environments, you also use the Cloud environments at our existing customers and you are committed to 3rd-line support.
Macaw has been a multiple Gold Partner of Microsoft for years and can offer all Microsoft solutions, with extensive technical support. We are at the forefront when it comes to the latest technology; for example, Bicep and Kubernetes are currently being used by customers and innovation has an important place in the organization. This great knowledge of new technology and sharing knowledge with each other is typical for our Macaw colleagues.
